Field Automation Specialist III

About the Role Albireo Energy is hiring a Field Automation Specialist III to lead device startup and field verification activities on mission-critical data center construction projects. You'll take the lead on checkout tasks, support BAS and PLC integration, troubleshoot independently, and mentor the junior specialists on your team. • Lead startup and field verification of BAS and EPMS field devices.
• Support BAS and PLC integration and basic device configuration tasks.
• Troubleshoot device communication and wiring issues independently.
• Mentor and guide Field Automation Specialist I and II personnel.
• Coordinate installation activities with subcontractors and trades.
• Maintain complete and accurate field documentation and as-built markups.
• Assist Field Automation Engineers with commissioning and testing activities.

What You'll Bring 3–5 years of field controls, BAS, or automation experience on construction projects. Demonstrated ability to perform and lead point-to-point checkout and I/O verification. Working knowledge of BACnet IP/MSTP, Modbus TCP/RTU, and Ethernet/IP protocols. Experience with Tridium Niagara, Honeywell, Siemens, or similar BAS platforms preferred. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. OSHA-30 preferred. Salary Range: $74K-$115K/yr.
