Temporary Benefits Coordinator

Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Temporary Benefits Coordinator to join their team. As a Temporary Benefits Coordinator, you will be part of the Benefits department supporting the Benefits team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Temporary Benefits Coordinator

Location: Amherst, NY

Pay Range: $22/hour

Shift: 1st Shift 8:00am-5:00pm

What's the Job?

• Perform high-volume data entry with a high degree of accuracy.
• Maintain employee records, enrollment information, and eligibility data within HR, carrier, and vendor systems.
• Assist employees with benefit enrollment processes via phone.
• Complete benefit enrollment activities, including manual enrollments, coverage changes, and distribution of enrollment confirmations.
• Triage incoming calls, emails, and requests, ensuring issues are directed to the appropriate team member.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of administrative, customer service, HR, call center, or related experience working in an over-the-phone support role required.
• Benefits administration experience a plus.
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
