Facilities Technician

Maintenance TechnicianResponsible for performing routine, corrective, and building maintenance activities for all Treasure Coast Hospice properties and thrift store locations.QualificationsMinimum of one (1) year experience using basic knowledge of painting, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing. Skills levels required should include at least basic HVAC maintenance and basic electrical troubleshooting. Ability to maintain harmonious, constructive relationships with internal and external customers. Possession of a valid Florida driver's license with proof of automobile insurance. Attendance is a condition of employment.Key Result AreasResponsible for completing scheduled preventative and routine general maintenance tasks on all Treasure Coast Hospice properties in compliance with safety regulations as measure by inspections without fault.Responsible for timely completion of service calls for repairs and/or replacements as measured by the facility work order tracking data.Accountable for the efficient movement and set up of office furniture as measured by employee satisfaction.Responsible for following safety practices as measured by employee incident reports.Maintain a high level of urgency, customer consciousness and service excellence.Participate as an active supporter of the Treasure Coast Hospice compliance program, including an emphasis to report, as well as complying with all Federal, State and Local laws as well as the organization's compliance program.Fulfill all responsibilities related to the success of the strategic plan of the organization, as requested and assignedOSHAPosition will be categorized as category II (involves no routine exposure to blood, body fluids/tissues but may occasionally require performing unplanned category I tasks).Working ConditionsMedium work. Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position.
