DescriptionSenior CounselLocation: Irvine, CACompensation: $200,000 - $220,000 + discretionary bonusSchedule: 5 days onsitePosition OverviewA growing technology-focused company is seeking a Senior Counsel to join its legal team. This role will primarily focus on commercial contracts, with additional responsibility for technology, privacy, regulatory, and operational legal matters.The Senior Counsel will report directly to the General Counsel and work closely with cross-functional business teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts from start to finish.Handle SaaS, technology, vendor, data, licensing, confidentiality, and customer agreements.Support enterprise customer agreements, strategic partnerships, reseller relationships, and data licensing arrangements.Advise Product, Technology, Information Security, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Executive teams on legal and business matters.Support privacy, data security, regulatory compliance, consumer financial services, AI, and technology matters.Provide legal support for product launches, partnerships, and other strategic initiatives.Assist with corporate governance and coordinate with outside counsel on specialized legal matters.Develop and improve contract templates, playbooks, clause libraries, and approval workflows.Help optimize contract lifecycle management and AI-enabled legal technology.Compensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $200,000 - $220,000Bonus: DiscretionaryBenefits include:Medical, dental, and vision401(k)Paid parkingVacationSick timePaid holidaysRequirementsQualificationsActive California Bar membership required.Strong commercial contract drafting and negotiation experience.Experience with SaaS, technology, vendor, data, licensing, and customer agreements.Experience managing contracts and legal matters from intake through completion.Experience with contract management software.Ability to work 5 days per week onsite in Irvine, CA.Ready to apply?
