Senior Corporate Recruiter

Responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization, to include screening/interviewing and recommending applicants for all open positions; Develops and executes recruiting strategies for a variety of positions/levels; Creates recruiting initiatives to leverage networking and employee referrals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions .Leads Job Strategy Discussions to develop specific recruiting plans with hiring managers .Proactively sources candidates for open positions; develops proactive recruiting strategies .Stays abreast on cutting edge recruitment methodologies through internal (Talent Acquisition) and external (LinkedIn/Social Media, articles, seminars, etc.) resources .Builds relationships with leaders and employees to improve recruiting strategies and enhance candidate experience .Screens applicants to obtain pertinent information on work history, education, skills and salary expectations; makes qualified candidate recommendations to the hiring manager; Possess effective interviewing and screening skills .Collaborates with Recruiting Coordinator to ensure a smooth interview process, including ensuring travel, lodging & transportation are secured, expenses are arranged and candidate communication is on point .Maintains all records on staffing activities via the applicant tracking system. This includes but is not limited to ensuring dispositions are updated, the candidate source is correct, and the stage of the interview process is clearly documented .Maintains regular contact with possible future candidates to establish and maintain viable candidate pipelines .Manages professional relationships with colleges, universities, community organizations and professional associations as a source to generate qualified applicants .Attends job/career fairs with appropriate staff as a source to generate qualified applicants .Partners with Leader to manage/provide mentorship within the rotational and/or internship programs .Collaborates with external recruiters .Responsible for direct participation in New Hire Orientation and OnBoarding activities as applicable .Provides weekly status updates on open positions and recruiting strategies .Be an advocate for the Employee Referral Program .Supports the Affimative Action goals established by the company .All other duties as assigned .Education & Experienc e Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience, preferably in Corporate Recruiting; or 5+ years of equivalent professional experienc e.An in-depth understanding of Talent Acquisition principles and practices, preferre d.Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-tas k.Tact, diplomacy and the ability to enlist the support of others are essential. Proven ability to work with all levels of employee s.Must be able to maintain confidentialit y.Ability to lead initiatives and work as part of a project tea m.Outstanding time management skills and the ability to work in a very fast paced environmen t.Proven PC skills and experience using various software packages are required, i.e. Microsoft Office - Outlook, PowerPoint Word, Excel. Experience in developing spreadsheets and recruiting metrics is strongly preferre d.Proven experience working within a reputable applicant tracking system preferre d. Trav el Must be able to travel overnight on occasion to attend career fairs, conferences and field ride along when needed; Peak times for this activity is traditionally in the fall, but must be open to it during other times throughout the year.
