As part of a contract assignment, you'll make a positive impact while covering maternity leave from January through approximately May 21. This full-time position offers 37.5 hours per week and involves managing a dynamic caseload of around 35 preschool-aged children—perfect for those who thrive in a collaborative, ever-changing educational environment.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in school-based, home health, or healthcare settings with pediatric populations
• Strong understanding of child development and sensory integration within PreK settings
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Adept at collaborating with teachers, staff members, and families to support individualized education plans
• Flexibility and adaptability to respond to varying caseload needs across multiple sites

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy interventions to help preschoolers achieve their developmental and educational goals
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans targeting fine motor, visual-motor, sensory, and self-help skills
• Maintain ongoing communication with classroom teachers, support staff, and families
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development and updates
• Accurately document student progress and maintain required records in a timely manner
• Travel between three school sites as part of your weekly schedule
