About the Position

• Provide skilled nursing care for post-op surgical patients including thoracic, ENT, urology, and general surgery cases.
• Monitor and manage patients on non-titratable cardiac drips, IV insulin, chest tubes, and BiPAP/CPAP.
• Assist with care of fresh trachs, total laryngectomy patients, feeding tubes, and epidurals.
• Participate in floating and potential charge nurse duties based on staffing needs, with appropriate training.

Requirements

• This is a travel-only role—local Indiana RNs not accepted.
• First-time travelers welcome.
• Requires ACLS & BCLS certifications with at least 1–2 years of PCU or higher experience.
• Must be proficient in cardiac monitoring, post-op care, IV insulin protocols, and managing complex surgical patients.
• Floating to Med-Surg, PCU, or ICU expected.
