As a nurse at Whitney Place, you'll build meaningful relationships with residents while collaborating with caregivers, recreation professionals, dining services, and other interdisciplinary team members. Your Mission

At Whitney Place, nursing is about more than medication administration and assessmentsit's about building trust, supporting independence, and helping residents live with dignity.

As an LPN or RN, you'll provide compassionate clinical care, oversee resident wellness, and serve as an essential resource for residents, families, and fellow team members. Whether you're welcoming a new resident, responding to a health concern, or mentoring caregivers, your expertise and compassion will make a meaningful difference every day.

What You'll Do

• Provide skilled nursing care while promoting residents' independence, dignity, and quality of life.
• Perform resident assessments and monitor for changes in condition, communicating concerns to physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately in accordance with physician orders and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and support Home Health Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants while providing clinical guidance as needed.
• Complete accurate documentation and maintain compliance with state regulations and community policies.
• Respond to resident needs, emergencies, and changes in condition with professionalism and sound clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with residents, families, physicians, pharmacies, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional resident-centered care.

What You'll Bring

• Current Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• A compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.
• Experience in assisted living, senior living, rehabilitation, or long-term care is preferred but not required.
