Position Overview:

The primary purpose of the receptionist is to watch the front door, answer phones, greet residents and their families, direct them to appropriate places in the building, give tours and give out appropriate marketing materials, when directed .

Key Responsibilities:

1. Resident Engagement: Provide top notch customer service for residents including answering questions and assisting with their office needs
2. Team Player: Communicate effectively with co-workers and leadership to ensure top level care is provided while working together to problem solve.
3. Community Relations: Build strong relationships with employees, residents, and the broader community to create a supportive and inclusive living environment.
4. Quality of Care: Ensures highest quality of service is provided to residents while meeting their physical, emotional, and social needs.
5. Organizational Support and Professionalism: Follows all policies and procedures while supporting the organization’s goals and values and remaining professional at all times.

Qualifications:

1. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D) required; College degree preferred.
2. Abilities:
   1. Highly proficient at reading, writing, and communicating in English
   2. Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
   3. Ability to sit for long periods of time and types at 60 WPM on average.
