How You’ll Contribute Deliver routine therapy as delegated by a therapist. Respond to codes and calls for emergent assistance, assess patient condition, and deliver appropriate treatment. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition. Educate patients and families about illness and provide information about community support resources. Monitor, receive, stock, and distribute respiratory care supplies and medical gas cylinders. Maintain storage areas with required supply levels and equipment. Disassemble, clean, sterilize equipment, and perform preventive maintenance and calibration of machines. Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (required). BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred.
