Echocardiographer - Per Diem

Responsibilities The Echocardiographer is responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound procedures. They also assist a trained, credentialed cardiology attending during stress echocardiogram and TEE procedures. Additionally, the position is responsible for complete knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Graduate of a certified cardiovascular technology school and/or graduate of an accredited ultrasonography program with a specialty in cardiac sonography. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred One-year clinical echocardiography experience. Licenses and Certifications Required Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification or Registered Cardiac Sonographer Certification or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Certification. BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification. Working Conditions Lifts a minimum of 50 lbs., pushes and pulls a maximum of 375 lbs. and stands a minimum of 4 hours a day.
