Licensed Veterinary Technician - Cardiology

Job Overview Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle, a Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner, is a 24‑hour Emergency and Critical Care and Specialty hospital. We are seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our growing Cardiology team. Schedule Full‑time. Alternating weeks: Wednesday–Saturday 8 a.m.–6:30 p.m.; Monday–Thursday 8 a.m.–6:30 p.m. Qualifications Certified veterinary technician licensure (required). 1–2 years of clinical experience (cardiology experience preferred). Must have anesthesia experience. Role Responsibilities Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients. Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with state Veterinary Practice Act. Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments. Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records. Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts. Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and maintain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs. Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
