This role involves working closely with Physical Therapists to assist in patient treatment plans, helping individuals regain strength, mobility, and independence. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in executing treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist - Instruct and guide patients through prescribed exercises and mobility techniques - Monitor, document, and report patient progress and any concerns to the Physical Therapist - Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques for continued progress at home - Ensure a safe and encouraging rehabilitation environment Essential Skills and Abilities: - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams - Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and provide hands-on patient care - Problem-solving skills to adjust treatments based on patient progress - Physical stamina to assist patients with movement and rehabilitation exercises - Attention to detail for accurate documentation and reporting Qualifications: - Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistan t program - Current state licensure - BLS - Experience in a clinical or rehabilitative setting ###
