Director of Business Development

We’re looking for a Director of Business Development who takes a long-term, relationship-driven approach to growth; someone who understands that trust, consistency, and follow-through are what truly build a lasting pipeline.

In this role, you’ll focus on developing meaningful connections across the mission critical and industrial sectors, positioning Bingman as a trusted partner for the long haul, not just the next project.

A Day in the Life

• Build and nurture lasting relationships with industry professionals, clients, and partners
• Stay engaged with key contacts over time to identify opportunities as they naturally develop
• Strengthen Bingman’s presence and reputation within target markets
• Listen closely to client needs and align solutions that create long-term value
• Track relationship activity and pipeline progress within a CRM platform
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless and thoughtful pursuit process
• Represent Bingman at industry events, associations, and networking opportunities
• Share insights on market trends, client feedback, and relationship development with leadership
• Travel to meet with clients and partners (up to 60%)

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business development strategy centered on long-term relationship growth
• Cultivate trust with decision-makers across multiple levels of client organizations
• Identify and prioritize opportunities that align with Bingman’s strengths and values
• Partner closely with marketing and internal teams to support thoughtful, targeted outreach
• Maintain consistent communication with clients to strengthen partnerships over time

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong business acumen with experience in the A/E/C industry
• Proven success in building and maintaining long-term client relationships
• Understanding of design/build construction processes
• Experience with CRM systems and relationship tracking
• Established connections in Industrial, Cold Storage, Manufacturing, Mission Critical, or Data Center sectors are a strong plus
• Strong communication skills with a thoughtful, relationship-first approach
