Role Overview

Join our team as a Data Scientist to leverage data-driven insights for enhancing our IT application development. This role focuses on applying statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling to solve complex problems and drive product innovation. You will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable strategies that improve user experience and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to IT applications.
• Develop, validate, and deploy statistical models and machine learning algorithms to address business challenges.
• Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and measure the impact of product changes.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business teams to integrate data solutions and provide actionable recommendations.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines to support model development and deployment.
• Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed models, implementing iterative improvements as needed.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data science practices and tools within the organization.

Required Qualifications

• B.Tech. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 2-9 years of professional experience in a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar analytical role.
• Proven proficiency in statistical analysis, experimental design, and machine learning techniques.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R, with experience in relevant data science libraries.
• Expertise in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques to present insights effectively.
• Solid understanding of data structures, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Demonstrated ability to tackle complex problems with data-driven approaches.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a quantitative discipline.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for data storage and processing.
• Prior experience in the IT App Development industry or related technology sector.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
