Garage Gurus Techline Agent Location: Maryland Heights, MO, US Company: DRiV Position Summary As a Techline Agent, you will be responsible for providing expert technical assistance to customers via phone and email. You will respond to inquiries related to automotive repair, diagnostics, and the application of our products across a broad range of vehicle types. This role serves as a critical support link between the customer and our engineering, product, and quality teams. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing troubleshooting and technical support. Diagnose automotive issues and recommend solutions involving DRiV product applications. Document technical interactions and identify recurring issues or trends. Collaborate with engineering, product development, and quality teams to communicate field feedback and identify product enhancement opportunities. Provide technical guidance for a wide range of vehicles, including passenger cars, light- and heavy-duty trucks, off-highway equipment, and performance vehicles. Solid understanding of automotive systems, components, and diagnostic procedures. Ability to collect and summarize data from customer interactions. Proficient computer skills, including basic reporting, chart creation, and KPI tracking. Preferred Qualifications Hands‑on experience in a dealership or independent repair shop using diagnostic tools. Strong customer service skills, including conflict resolution. Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Power BI. Experience with Salesforce or similar customer relationship management (CRM) systems. Familiarity with automotive diagnostic software. Education & Certifications High school diploma required. ASE certifications or ability to obtain them. Preferred Education/Training Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology or graduation from an accredited automotive technical program. ASE Master Certification.
