Quick Service Team Leader: Husker Heroes (3:30pm-12:00am, Sun-Thurs)

The Quick Service Team Leader will provide guidance and supervision within one of Abel Dining's mobile order quick service concepts and ensure that orders are accurate, timely and up to the high standards of the University Dining Services. The Quick Service Team Leader will:

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Ensure that food quality meets and/or exceeds University Dining's and franchise standards
• Assign daily tasks and assignments to student workers and staff during their shift
• Oversee work in kitchen, dish room, and/or dining area
• Train student workers and staff on recipes, production processes, and University dining standards
• Perform all tasks in all areas/functions, such as; setting up, closing down stations, food production, restocking, daily food prep, cashiering, taking inventory food waste management, cleaning and monitoring food quality
• Troubleshoot and solve concerns directly with customers as they arise

This position is considered essential and schedule may include weekend, evening, or early morning shifts.

Minimum Required Qualifications - High school diploma/GED plus three years of food preparation experience and mastery of all kitchen and dining tasks and attributes; equivalent experience/education considered. Ability to read, write, weigh, and measure necessary. The ability to communicate is essential. Must have the ability to train and lead others. Food Handler's permit or ability to obtain by passing the Safety and Sanitation test required.

Preferred Qualifications - The following qualification is preferred but not required: Supervisory experience.
