Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed. Description: The position requires a registered nurse specializing in the Intensive Care Unit. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in an ICU setting. First-time travelers may be considered depending on experience. Nurses will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients. Key skills include managing ventilation, central lines, and IV medication administration. Experience with critical monitoring and emergency protocols is essential. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is crucial for patient management. Nurses may need to float within their scope of practice as necessary. A flexible schedule is required, including weekends and holidays. The department requires familiarity with the Meditech charting system. Candidates must be prepared for a variety of patient diagnoses and care needs.
