Regional Truck Driver

Arcwood Environmental is looking for a reliable, safety-focused Regional Truck Driver to join our team. This role is ideal for drivers who enjoy a mix of driving, hands-on work, and consistent weekly schedules with limited overnight travel.

What You Can Expect

• Pay: Starting at $30/hr, depending on experience
• Sign on Bonus: $7,000
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
• Travel: Average 2 overnights per week (per diem provided)
• Territory: Southwest VA/Upstate NY/Eastern CT/Ohio/Michigan/Indianapolis.
• Equipment: Roll-off trucks, trailers, and vacuum tankers
• Overtime: Regular overtime available
• Transmission: Manual transmission experience required

What You'll Do

• Safely operate roll-off trucks, trailers, and vacuum tankers for local pickups and deliveries
• Complete pre-trip inspections, fuel equipment, and ensure all vehicles are in proper working order
• Manage manifests, bills of lading, and all required documentation for each load
• Verify that loads are secure, properly labeled, and compliant with DOT and regulatory requirements
• Maintain electronic hours of service in accordance with DOT, state, and federal regulations
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to local disposal facilities
• Provide professional, courteous service at every customer site
• Load, line, and dump roll-off boxes
• Support the team with additional duties as needed

What You Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Class A CDL
• Hazmat endorsement required
• Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience
• Ability to work safely, stay alert, and perform some manual labor (climbing tankers, pulling hoses, etc.)
