Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement comprehensive physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring muscle function in patients with orthopedic conditions.
• Conduct thorough assessments, measuring function via diagnostic tests to establish a baseline for treatment and document progress accurately.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants to ensure the effective execution of treatment plans, maintaining high standards of care.
• Adapt therapeutic exercises, providing education and training to patients and families on proper use of equipment and methods to support home rehabilitation.
• Design and recommend adjustments to home environments to facilitate rehabilitation and enhance patient independence.
• Implement and monitor treatment modalities including manual therapy, traction, and therapeutic exercises tailored to individual patient needs.
• Contribute to the clinical documentation process, preparing evaluations, care plans, and progress notes for comprehensive patient records.
• Engage in case conferencing as a member of the interdisciplinary team, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to adjust patient care strategies dynamically.
• Maintain consistent communication with patients and their families, providing education and consultations regarding orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Participate actively in the ongoing development and refinement of treatment protocols, ensuring alignment with the latest best practices in physical therapy.

In this role, you will primarily serve patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and debilitating musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience as a physical therapist, preferably in an orthopedic rehabilitation setting.
• Strong knowledge of anatomical and physiological principles, with proficiency in therapeutic techniques relevant to rehabilitation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to patient education and advocacy.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with orthopedic patient populations, particularly post-operative orthopedic rehab.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and patient management.
• Certification in specialized therapeutic techniques (e.g., manual therapy, Kinesiology taping) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
