Senior Tax Manager High Net Worth & Family Wealth If you are a seasoned tax professional ready to lead complex estate and family wealth engagements and step into a genuine path to firm leadership this is your next move. What you will do Deliver high-level tax compliance and strategic consulting for high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, and estates, including sophisticated estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer planning. Serve as the primary trusted advisor to a defined client portfolio, building deep, lasting relationships that drive retention and organic growth. Review and sign off on complex returns and planning memos prepared by senior associates and managers, ensuring technical accuracy and timely delivery. Lead engagement lifecycles end-to-end scoping, budgeting, staffing, and quality control across multiple concurrent client matters. Mentor and develop tax staff through regular feedback, structured reviews, and hands-on coaching that builds the next generation of firm leaders. Expand the firms HNW practice by cultivating referral sources, attending professional and civic events, and identifying cross-service opportunities. Collaborate with partners across tax, assurance, and advisory to deliver integrated solutions to complex family wealth situations. What you need Active CPA license. 7 plus years of public accounting experience with a focus on high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and partnerships. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex engagements simultaneously and supervise multidisciplinary teams. Strong client-facing communication skills and a track record of relationship-based business development. Proficiency with professional tax software e.g., CCH Axcess, Thomson Reuters UltraTax, or equivalent. Nice to have Masters in Taxation, JD, or LLM. Experience with family office structures, charitable planning, or closely held business succession. Prior experience presenting at professional associations or contributing to thought leadership.
