Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Cost Accountant located in Cincinnati, OH. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for managing cost accounting processes, preparing financial statements, and performing analytical tasks. The role requires working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to achieve financial goals and enhance operational efficiency. Roles and Responsibilities Set standard costs of manufactured goods and review bill of materials with Operations team Analyze standard costs and review cost variances Investigate and resolve inventory adjustments Report on margins by product Perform account reconciliations Recommend opportunities for cost reduction and profit maximization Review and recommend changes to processes and procedures needed for data accumulation and reporting Advise management on appropriate costing based on financial data Assist with the coordination of the physical inventories Help implement and monitor cycle counts Assist and provide input on inventory reserves and obsolete inventory Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field Two years experience in manufacturing Experience with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint #J-18808-Ljbffr Midstate Machine
