Maintenance Supervisor - FULL TIME

The Arc of Iroquois County is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor. This position is a FULL TIME hourly position. DUTIES include but are not limited to the following:Ensure all agency buildings, grounds, equipment and vehicles are kept safe, sanitary and accessible for the people supported and staff.Maintain adequate stock of paper products, cleaning supplies, spare parts and equipment this includes the ordering, inventorying, unloading and sorting of these supplies.Maintain agency vehicles in safe, clean and functioning condition.Assist with mowing and grounds up keep.Complete other tasks as assigned by your supervisor. Qualifications: Education:A high school diploma or a GEDExperience:Have working knowledge about small appliances, heating and air conditioning equipment, motor vehicles, plumbing and electrical equipment, and experience in performing maintenance and minor repairs on this equipmentKnow how to use common tools and cleaning devices such as a mop, electric drill, etc.Develop a working knowledge of safety and accessibility standards for the Welles Career Center and CILA.Requirements:Successfully pass a criminal background check through the Illinois State PolicePossess a valid Illinois Driver's License with a clear driving recordProvide proof of current car insuranceAbility to: Lift at least 50 pounds without restrictions; Climb stairs and ladders; Stand, stoop, walk and kneel for extended periods of time; Work in high places;Push, pull and carry heavy loads; Work in hot and cold weather conditionsCommunicate effectivelyPossess basic computer skills BENEFITS:Earn Paid-Time Off (PTO) starting day one.
