Lab Team Lead

Job Summary Primary office: One Hundred Oaks location. Occasional travel to Belle Meade and Cool Springs. Supervises efficient integration and management of the team and operations to properly provide laboratory services, defines performance standards, and manages operations to support consistent outcomes that meet or exceed quality standards. Plans, coordinates, and supervises the activities of personnel engaged in testing and implements new technology. Supports MLS programs by enabling staff to serve as instructors for the primary training of MLS students. Key Responsibilities Manage daily activities and the team to optimize operational processes and meet quality performance standards within the laboratory services. Supervise personnel, select new employees, ensure staff are properly trained, meet competencies, identify training needs, and conduct performance evaluations. Develop and implement a quality control/assurance program, including proficiency testing and peer review standards. Maintain all required activities and documents to assure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards applicable to the laboratory. Additional duties may be assigned as required.
