Mammography Technologist PRN

Role Overview The Mammography Technologist performs screening and diagnostic breast and bone density exams, supporting physicians with accurate imaging data. Responsibilities Demonstrate expertise in breast and bone imaging, adhere to safety protocols, evaluate image quality, and ensure proper patient identification. Provide compassionate patient care, respond to emergencies, maintain aseptic techniques, and assist radiologists during procedures. Comply with organizational policies and standards. Qualifications & Skills Requires an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-Mammography, ARRT-Radiography certifications, and BLS certification. Minimum of 2 years in diagnostic radiography or 1 year in breast imaging preferred. Must operate radiographic equipment, communicate effectively, and possess excellent patient service skills. Knowledge of mammography positioning is a plus. Key Duties Perform imaging procedures, evaluate and process images, ensure patient safety, and support clinical team operations.
