Director, FP&A - Global Commercial Finance & Analytics - Foster City, CA

Gilead Sciences seeks a Director of FP&A to lead global commercial financial planning, forecasting, consolidation, and analytics. The role partners with regional and cross-functional teams to deliver executive insights, strengthen financial controls, and drive digital finance innovation across the worldwide commercial organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead global revenue forecasting, consolidation, and variance analysis across products and regions
- Serve as primary FP&A liaison for US and ACE regions, translating submissions into integrated global insights
- Oversee financial controls, data integrity, and governance for revenue and operating expense reporting
- Support long-range planning, scenario analysis, and strategic financial modeling for executive review
- Champion digital finance innovation and lead AI adoption efforts to improve forecasting and reporting efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 12+ years relevant experience, or Master's with 10+, or PhD with 8+
- Extensive FP&A experience in revenue forecasting, consolidation, planning, and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to partner across regional and cross-functional finance teams
- Strong knowledge of financial controls, data governance, and audit documentation
- Advanced analytical skills including scenario modeling and profitability assessment
- Experience leading digital finance, AI, automation, and analytics initiatives
