About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Field Sales to lead a team of 7-10 Field Sales Representatives in the Northeast region. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching, developing, and driving the team's performance to meet and exceed business goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong commercial acumen, excellent communication, and relationship-building skills. The VP of Field Sales will be expected to meet and exceed sales targets, support the team in driving new B2B business, and manage KPIs weekly. Key responsibilities include recruiting, developing, and retaining top sales talent, conducting coaching sessions, and providing detailed performance reports. The role demands a self-starter with a proven track record in high-performance, target-driven sales environments, and expertise in new business development. Applicants for the VP of Field Sales position at the company should have a minimum of 6 years' of professional B2B sales experience, with a strong background in "hunter" sales. The role requires a candidate who is proficient in MS Office tools and CRM/sales platforms, and who is adept at managing territories, articulating value propositions, and coaching pipeline health. The ideal candidate will be driven by achievement, accountability, and continuous improvement, and will be expected to represent the company professionally at various events. The VP of Field Sales will also act as a liaison between the sales team and other cross-functional departments and must be effective at performance management and the hiring process. The position is remote, and the candidate should be prepared to operate in a virtual work environment.
