Stormwater Inspector

Insight Global is seeking a Stormwater Inspector to support a local municipal client in the Richmond, VA area. This individual will play a key role in inspecting stormwater infrastructure, maintaining accurate asset records, and identifying maintenance or repair needs across industrial and commercial sites. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine wet and dry inspections of stormwater infrastructure in industrial and commercial environments Utilize GIS mapping tools to identify inspection locations and plan field activities Update and maintain inspection data within a company-owned database , ensuring accurate asset tracking Identify and document deficiencies, maintenance needs, and repair requirements for stormwater structures Support compliance with local and state environmental regulations Communicate findings clearly to internal teams and stakeholders Required Skills & Experience Background in environmental science, engineering, or related field Ability to work in both field and office environments Nice to Have Skills & Experience Experience working with stormwater systems, inspections, or environmental compliance Familiarity with GIS tools/maps Stormwater management (SWM) knowledge DEQ Stormwater Inspector Certification (or similar) #J-18808-Ljbffr
