Responsibilities
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or clinical situation (assessment) and analyze the data to identify diagnoses or issues.
- Develop and implement a plan of care with patient- and family-centered goals; identify expected outcomes and prescriptive strategies.
- Implement the plan of care and collaborate with the health care team to promote patient safety and health education for patients and families.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, continuously update knowledge and skills to reflect current nursing practice, and contribute to peer development.
- Maintain ethical practice, protect patient confidentiality, and participate in professional leadership within the practice setting.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members; participate in on-call activities as required.

Requirements
- Active Montana licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
- Outpatient clinic experience preferred
- Knowledge of and experience with electronic health record operating systems
- Ability to work in a high-volume, busy hospital environment and maintain professional demeanor
- Willingness to complete required education per applicable policy and regulatory standards
