IT Compliance & Security Risk Manager

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an IT Compliance & Security Risk Manager to join their team. As an IT Compliance & Security Risk Manager, you will be part of the IT Department supporting security and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title IT Compliance & Security Risk Manager Location Lake Forest, Illinois Pay Range $60-65 Responsibilities Lead the execution of IT and security compliance and risk management programs. Collaborate with CISO, IT leadership, Legal, Internal Audit, External Audit, and key business stakeholders to ensure effective control design, documentation, testing, and remediation. Support audit processes, including policy governance, management review oversight, and audit evidence coordination. Interpret and operationalize regulatory and contractual security requirements into actionable controls. Develop and maintain IT and security compliance programs aligned with industry frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2, and others. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Risk Management, IT, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in IT compliance, information security, risk management, or audit. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory requirements, and IT infrastructure. Experience managing security audits, risk assessments, and remediation activities. Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, or CISM are highly preferred.
