This contract role offers an opportunity to work with schools across several vibrant Michigan areas, including Grand Blanc, Lansing, and Detroit. Serve students with a range of speech and language needs, collaborating closely with educational staff and families to help learners thrive.

Your experience as an SLP-CCC or progress toward completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will be valued here. Preference is given to candidates with experience supporting the unique needs of urban students and an understanding of the resources that can best assist them and their families. Strong, seasoned professionals may be considered for virtual opportunities, though onsite service is highly prioritized.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Michigan SLP license (temporary license required for CFY candidates)
• Masters-level education in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university (official transcripts required before presentation)
• SLP certification (ASHA CCC preferred; strong CFY with established supervisor may be considered)
• Experience working with K-12 school populations is favored
• Understanding of the challenges facing urban students and familiarity with appropriate support resources
• Ability to work 35 hours per week during the school year

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
• Maintain accurate records and document all services per district and state guidelines
• Engage in professional collaboration with school teams to promote students’ communication success
