Outside Sales Representative

The ideal candidate will prospect and generate new commercial business as well as perform cold-calls in the field to generate new permanent sales. This candidate should be able to support existing clients and have an ability to conduct product demonstrations. Responsibilities Generate new business through cold calling, door knocking, networking, and relationship development within the commercial market Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts by identifying opportunities for additional testing, inspection, monitoring, and security services Sell fire alarm inspections, fire sprinkler inspections, fire extinguisher services Partner with installation and construction teams to capitalize on warm leads and cross‑selling opportunities generated from existing customers Conduct site visits, assess customer needs, prepare proposals, and present solutions to decision‑makers Build relationships with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), property managers, facility managers, business owners, and other key stakeholders Qualifications REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 2+ years of outside sales experience with a proven track record of generating new business Experience cold calling, prospecting, door knocking, and building a territory from the ground up Strong relationship‑building and consultative selling skills Self‑motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently in a field‑based environment Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the territory daily Experience managing a sales pipeline and consistently achieving sales goals Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
