Facilities Technician

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an Facilities Technician. Position Type: Full time contract, Possible Contract to Hire Duration: 12months. Location: Palm Bay, FL 32905 (Onsite/1st shift/Mon-Fri) Responsibilities This Facilities Tech D will provide support as a skilled technician (replacement). Requires 10-20 years' HVAC experience, requires basic mastery of HVAC elements. This Tech D will coordinate work of contractors and interface with customers to accommodate all program requirements. You must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate a company vehicle to travel to all 5 sites in Brevard. Will be on call for Program critical equipment issues. Support HVAC requests for repairs/replacement of 3.5M SF in 76 buildings spread across 5 locations. Use tracking software to ensure components are accurately installed, tracked, etc. Interface with all levels of the organization to report on HVAC issues/repairs/replacements. This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. Ideal Candidate will have: 6-8 years' experience in HVAC certified Refrigerant Mechanic. Role is customer focused; metric driven and has an expectation of timely completion and close out of Work Orders. Will work in a diverse and changing environment supporting many internal and external customers simultaneously. Valid driver's License. Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Self-starter with good written and verbal communications skills.
