Facilities Technician

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an Facilities Technician.

Position Type: Full time contract, Possible Contract to Hire
Duration: 12months
Location: Palm Bay, FL 32905 ( Onsite/1st shift/Mon-Fri)


As an Facilities Technician you will:

• This Facilities Tech D will provide support as a skilled technician (replacement).
• Requires 10-20 years' HVAC experience, requires basic mastery of HVAC elements. This Tech D will coordinate work of contractors and interface with customers to accommodate all program requirements.
• You must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate a company vehicle to travel to all 5 sites in Brevard.
• Will be on call for Program critical equipment issues.
• Support HVAC requests for repairs/replacement of 3.5M SF in 76 buildings spread across 5 locations.
• Use tracking software to ensure components are accurately installed, tracked, etc.
• Interface with all levels of the organization to report on HVAC issues/repairs/replacements.

Ideal Candidate will have:

• 6-8 years' experience in HVAC certified Refrigerant Mechanic.
• Role is customer focused; metric driven and has an expectation of timely completion and close out of Work Orders.
• Will work in a diverse and changing environment supporting many internal and external customers simultaneously.
• Valid driver's License.
• Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Self-starter with good written and verbal communications skills.
• Microsoft Suite basic skills
• Basic computer skills

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $35-$38/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
