Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (Cath Lab Tech)
\n Pay: $34.11–$49.41 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Employment Type: Full Time
\n Shift: Days | Monday–Friday | 4x10 Schedule
\n 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., with participation in a shared on-call rotation (30-minute response time).

Under the direction of the Cardiologist and/or Radiologist, the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist assists with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures by scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data.

This role prepares procedure rooms, operates specialized cardiovascular equipment, and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.

• Scrub, circulate, and monitor patients while documenting physiologic and hemodynamic data.
\n
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and sterile instrumentation.
\n
• Operate cardiovascular imaging equipment in accordance with departmental protocols.
\n
• Maintain procedure supplies and equipment readiness.
\n
• Adhere to quality, patient safety, radiation safety, and infection prevention standards.

• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and continuing education.
\n
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the cardiovascular team to deliver exceptional patient care.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. ARRT-R and licensed as required by State; VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) preferred.

2. Previous experience in a Interventional Radiology department preferred.

3. BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.

4. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.

5. Proficient computer skills.
