Revenue Intelligence Senior Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Revenue Intelligence Senior Analyst based in the United States.

This role provides data-driven performance intelligence that supports revenue decisions across a large, multi-market hotel portfolio.
You will analyze performance at brand, regional, and market levels to uncover actionable revenue opportunities.
The position combines business intelligence, revenue analytics, automation, and emerging AI capabilities.
You will translate complex information from multiple sources into concise insights, clear narratives, and practical recommendations.
The role also offers significant ownership in designing automated workflows that improve analytical efficiency and scalability.
You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, influencing decisions through rigorous analysis rather than direct authority.

Accountabilities

• Own recurring performance reporting across key revenue metrics, including market share index, revenue per available room, channel contribution, segment mix, and business mix.

• Determine the most relevant metrics, comparisons, and time periods for stakeholder questions and present findings in formats that emphasize insights and recommended actions.

• Analyze performance across brands, regions, and individual markets to identify meaningful and addressable revenue opportunities.

• Evaluate demand patterns, event impacts, channel behavior, and segment trends to distinguish actionable opportunities from broader market conditions.

• Design, maintain, and continuously improve automated reporting and analytical workflows using AI and automation tools.

• Identify repetitive analytical processes suitable for automation and develop reliable, scalable solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and analytical capacity.

• Measure the impact of revenue initiatives by establishing success criteria, monitoring results, and determining whether changes are attributable to specific initiatives or broader market movements.

• Evaluate emerging AI tools and techniques, develop reusable solutions, and document workflows so colleagues can apply them independently.

• Translate complex analysis into concise performance narratives and executive-ready recommendations for audiences ranging from operational teams to senior leadership.

• Manage competing analytical priorities independently while maintaining strong stakeholder communication and delivery standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.

• At least 4 years of experience in performance analysis, business intelligence, revenue management, or a comparable analytical role.

• Demonstrated experience working with large datasets, reconciling information from multiple sources, identifying trends, and producing analysis that informs business decisions.

• Experience automating reporting or analytical processes, preferably with measurable improvements in cycle time, accuracy, scalability, or team capacity.

• Strong ability to work independently, determine appropriate analytical approaches, and manage multiple stakeholder priorities with minimal supervision.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, large datasets, and structured financial or analytical modeling.

• Proficiency with Tableau, including developing and maintaining dashboards and reporting views for different audiences.

• Working proficiency in SQL and the ability to independently query, combine, and analyze data from multiple sources.

• Demonstrated experience using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to develop repeatable analytical and reporting workflows, including effective prompt design.

• Familiarity with hospitality performance data, including STR and comparable market share, demand, and channel intelligence platforms, is preferred.

• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills and the ability to create concise, executive-ready presentations.

• Python or comparable scripting experience for data manipulation and automation is preferred.

• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses and enterprise reporting environments is preferred.

• Strong analytical judgment, including the ability to distinguish meaningful signals from noise and draw defensible conclusions from incomplete or imperfect data.

• Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt complex information to both technical and senior audiences.

• Strong influencing skills and the ability to build credibility with stakeholders without direct reporting authority.

• Process-oriented mindset with an interest in creating repeatable, documented, and maintainable analytical solutions.

• Curiosity and adaptability, with an interest in emerging technologies and new approaches to improving analytical delivery.
