Job Details We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and motivated individual to join our team as a Permanent Sr. Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, growth-oriented Accounting + Finance industry. As a Sr. Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in financial decision-making and operations as we continue to enhance our business profitability. This position offers a unique chance to contribute to our company's financial strategy and make a substantial impact on our business's future. Responsibilities

1. Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
2. Participating in tax audits and payroll preparations.
3. Preparing budgeting reports and forecasting revenues.
4. Managing month-end and year-end closing.
5. Monitoring the daily performance of the accounting department.
6. Organizing financial data into useable information and maintain updated records.
7. Tracking the progress of financial and accounting objectives.
8. Establishing and maintaining fiscal files and records to document transactions.
9. Ensuring compliance with state revenue service.
10. Using Netsuite for various accounting operations.

Qualifications

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
4. Proficiency in accounting software, with a particular emphasis on Netsuite.
5. Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
6. In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
7. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
8. Excellent numerical skills with an ability to spot inaccuracies.
9. The ability to handle time-sensitive tasks.
10. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
