Concrete Foreman Location: Within 50 miles of Thousand Oaks, CA Pay: $45-$55/hour (DOE) Benefits: Company Truck + Full Benefits Job Summary General Paving Management is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead concrete crews on a variety of commercial, residential, and industrial paving projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can read blueprints, coordinate field operations, manage crews, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in flatwork, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and other concrete structures, along with proven leadership skills to keep projects running efficiently from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise concrete crews on commercial, residential, and industrial projects. Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications. Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and manage crew productivity. Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule. Oversee the installation of: Sidewalks Curbs, curb ramps, and gutters Patios, decks, and walkways Swales and water channels General concrete flatwork Verify grades, elevations, layouts, and dimensions before and during construction. Ensure all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and ADA requirements where applicable. Maintain a safe job site by enforcing OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, vendors, and clients. Train, mentor, and develop crew members while maintaining accountability for quality and productivity. Complete daily reports and provide project updates to management. Qualifications 5+ years of commercial concrete construction experience. Previous experience as a Concrete Foreman, Lead Foreman, or Crew Supervisor. Strong experience with concrete flatwork, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and paving projects. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints. Experience managing crews, scheduling work, and meeting project deadlines. Knowledge of concrete placement, finishing, grading, forming, and curing methods. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required. Preferred Experience Commercial, residential, and industrial paving projects. ADA sidewalk and curb ramp construction. Municipal improvements and public works projects. Site concrete and structural flatwork. Experience coordinating with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors. Compensation & Benefits $45-$55/hour , depending on experience.
