The Department of Otolaryngology at the University of South Florida is seeking a fellowship-trained Pediatric Otolaryngologist to join our expanding faculty team. This full-time, 12-month salaried position carries an open academic rank and includes attending privileges at Tampa General Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center serving South Central and West Florida. \n

\nThe successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of subspecialists and engage with the local outreach community to advance pediatric otolaryngologic care. \n

Responsibilities: \n
Teaching: \n

\n
• Enhance otolaryngology residency training through a dedicated pediatric rotation focused on complex surgical care. 
\n

\n

\n
• Support resident-led research initiatives in pediatric otolaryngology. 
\n

\n

\n
• Develop a Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship Program within two years. 
\n

Clinical: \n

\n
• Provide high-quality medical and surgical care to pediatric patients, emphasizing prevention and improved outcomes. 
\n

\n

\n
• Facilitate referrals from TGH ER, Brandon Healthplex, and surrounding communities. 
\n

\n

\n
• Participate in CME and community outreach to promote the department’s expertise. 
\n

Administrative: \n

\n
• Contribute to departmental growth and strategic planning. 
\n

\n

\n
• Support educational and research missions through leadership and mentorship. 
\n

Other Duties: \n

\n
• As assigned by the Department Chair. 
\n

\n
Qualifications: \n

\n
• MD or equivalent from an accredited institution. 
\n

\n

\n
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology. 
\n

\n

\n
• Eligible for appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. 
\n

\n

\n
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching, clinical care, and service. 
\n

\n

\n
• For senior ranks, a record of scholarly achievement and recognition in the field is expected. 
\n
