Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient position located in Castro Valley, California. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role involves planning and implementing occupational therapy programs for adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on inpatient rehabilitation. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in relevant clinical settings.

• Required Qualifications: Current California State License, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in occupational therapy.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience, community hospital experience, travel experience.
• Skills: Above knees prosthetics, acute care, adaptive equipment, adult rehabilitation, amputee management, arthritis, assessment, below knee prosthetics, cognitive assessment, coma management, CVA rehabilitation, dementia/Alzheimers, discharge planning, evaluation, functional splints, hand injury, hip fracture and total hip replacement, home exercise programs, knee injuries and total knee replacement, lifting and transfer, lower extremity, management/lead experience, multiple sclerosis, neurological disorders, Parkinsons disease, patient/family education, plan of care, pre-discharge planning, reassessments, safety and injury prevention, soft tissue injuries, spinal cord injury, static splints, traumatic brain injury, upper extremity, excellent communication skills, team collaboration.
• Additional Information: Must complete labs within 3-5 days of contract signing. All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to start date. Certifications must be uploaded with valid expiration dates. Two references obtained within the last year are required.
• Vaccinations: COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required.
• Travel Experience: Required.
• RTO Policy: No RTO permitted.
• Onboarding: Must complete modules during orientation, with 1-5 hours allocated, recorded through e-learning.
