Legal Assistant

Supporting litigation-related administrative work, the part-time Contract Legal Assistant will manage case calendars, coordinate hearings, and prepare legal documents while working remotely for 5 to 6 hours daily. Key responsibilities Coordinate hearings, mediations, and depositions by securing dates and confirming logistics with courts and counsel Maintain and update case calendars in Clio to accurately track deadlines and scheduled events Prepare and file court documents electronically, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court rules Required qualifications At least 2 years of experience in a Legal Assistant role, preferably in litigation support Practical experience using Clio for case management and calendaring Strong knowledge of e-filing procedures and court document submission standards Experience drafting legal notices and documents with high accuracy Excellent calendar management skills and the ability to prioritize time-sensitive tasks
