Business Office Manager About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Business Office Manager to rewarding role. The Business Office Manager is responsible for directing the daily administrative and financial operations of the healthcare facility. This position oversees patient billing, insurance claims, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, collections, and office staff while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations. The Business Office Manager works collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to maintain efficient business operations and deliver excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the business office, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity. Oversee patient billing, insurance verification, claims submission, collections, and payment posting. Monitor accounts receivable and implement strategies to improve collections and reduce aging balances. Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and other applicable healthcare regulations. Prepare financial reports, budgets, and monthly revenue analyses for leadership. Coordinate payroll processing and maintain employee timekeeping records. Supervise, train, and evaluate business office staff. Resolve patient billing inquiries and insurance claim issues promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate financial and patient records in accordance with organizational policies. Collaborate with clinical departments to ensure accurate documentation and coding. Develop and implement office policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency. Assist with audits, regulatory surveys, and financial reporting requirements. Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare business office management, medical billing, or revenue cycle management. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, HIPAA, and healthcare reimbursement processes. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and medical billing software. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Preferred Skills Revenue cycle management experience. Financial reporting and budgeting expertise. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
