Plant Operations Lead

Job Title: Plant Operations Lead Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Plant Operations Lead to a vital role in supporting our clients' manufacturing operations. This onsite, permanent/direct-hire position based in Miami, FL focuses on leading production teams to meet daily operational goals in a fast-paced food and beverage manufacturing environment. Compensation: $21/hour Work Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8-10 hour shifts. First or second shift. Saturdays if needed. Key Responsibilities of the Plant Operations Lead: Track hourly productivity, shift staffing, and quality metrics to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) such as labor cost, overtime, and yield Take ownership of operational targets and coach team members to focus on achieving KPIs Review production schedules and plan for appropriate packaging materials and staffing needs Direct and assign employees as needed, enforce discipline, track attendance, and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Facilitate root-cause problem solving to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost goals within assigned work areas Monitor employee performance and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement Coach and mentor team members, including facilitating cross-training and team-driven performance initiatives Maintain floor organization and serve as the point-of-contact in the absence of a Supervisor or Manager Troubleshoot quality and equipment issues and address operational challenges Perform all duties ethically and responsibly Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills for the Plant Operations Lead: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required Post-secondary education is preferred but not required Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the food industry Why Join Us?
