The experienced Ascent team solves customers' most challenging logistics needs by providing industry-leading service and top-tier satisfaction.You will support the day-to-day cleanliness, readiness and overall upkeep of the facility. This position is focused on high-quality custodial servicing, routine inspections and operational support to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment.Clean and sanitize office areas, conference rooms, restrooms, and high-touch surfaces.Maintain hanger, warehouse, and shop floors, including operation of a motorized floor scrubber.Perform routine sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming and general interior cleaning tasks.Empty and replace trash and recycling receptacles throughout the facility.Wash interior and exterior windows as assigned.Conduct routine facility inspection to identify cleaning needs, safety hazards, or issues requiring escalation.Support internal relocation, event setups, office moves and basic furniture configuration (chairs, tables, small modular pieces)Pick up supplies from approved local vendors as requestedMaintain and properly store cleaning equipment and ensure supplies are stocked.Assist the Facilities team with other operational tasks as assigned.What You'll BringHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)Prior custodial or facilities support experience is beneficial but not required.Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.Ability to follow established cleaning procedures and safety practicesProfessional communication and customer service orientation.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving operational environmentCapability to read and understand cleaning instructions, safety rules, and SDS documentsValid Michigan driver's license with acceptable driving recordRegularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reachAbility to lift or move up to 50 lbs. routinely: up to 75 lbs. with assistance on occasionComfortable operating custodial machinery and equipmentAble to work in an aviation-driven environment with varying temperatures and noise levelsWork performed in offices, hangers, restrooms, break areas, and warehouse environmentsExposure to cleaning chemicals, noise, and active operational areasPersonal protective equipment (PPE) provided and required where applicableAscent's Competitive Benefits401(k) and employer matchingLife InsuranceHealth, Dental, Vision InsuranceShort- & Long-Term DisabilityPaid Time Off (PTO)Employee Assistance ProgramPaid Parental LeaveEmployee Wellness ProgramPaid HolidaysEmployee Recognition ProgramsFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Tuition ReimbursementHealth Savings Account (HSA)Overtime, Differential & Bonus Pay
