Full Time – Days 6:45am – 7:15pm (3) – 12 hour shifts per week 4 weekend shifts per 6 week period (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) No on call $10,000 Sign‑On Bonus Students 6 months from graduating from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program are welcome to apply Overview Christian Hospital has been serving St. Louis and the surrounding metro areas since 1903. The Physical Therapy Department at Christian Hospital is located on the second floor of CH. Services are provided to patients of all ages with musculoskeletal deficiencies. Responsibilities Effectively communicate by participating in the exchange of information, including documentation and handoff, and work collaboratively with the healthcare team. Provide education and training about respiratory therapy treatments and procedures to patients, families, students, new employees, and other team members, accommodating diverse learning styles. Hold oneself accountable, seek continuous learning and feedback, and perform multiple related duties while prioritizing and managing time effectively. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures according to established standards, policies, and guidelines, applying clinical expertise to assess, analyze, and troubleshoot as needed. Demonstrate advanced clinical and critical‑care skills to support additional responsibilities such as ECMO support, mechanical ventilator support, bronchoscopies, sleep laboratory work, labor and delivery services, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, Basic Life Support (BLS), and other tasks as required.
