TTM stands for time-to-market, representing how TTM's time-critical, one-stop design, engineering and manufacturing services enable customers to reduce the time required to develop new products and bring them to market.Additional information can be found at Buyer role is responsible to Prepare RFQ’s, negotiates quotes and purchases a board range of technically complex commodities, at the most favorable price, consistent with Quality, Quantity, specification requirements and all factors related to placement of the procurement.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Processes assigned requisitions by selection of suppliers, obtains and evaluates quotations, negotiates, develops source justifications, price justifications, initiates procurement action and makes commitments within delegated authority.Prepares data for generation of the purchase order.Develops new sources of supply, maintains source files, assists other Buyers and Personnel in keeping abreast of new products, latest design and future trends.Attends assigned meetings.Provides technical and practical knowledge to Buyers, when purchasing or related problems arise.Expedites purchase orders if required.Performs other duties as requiredSkills:Bachelor degree from a four-year college or university preferred7-10 years related experience and/or training combination of education and experienceComputer literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft ProjectKnowledge of FAR/ITARExperience working in an MRP environmentExperience with Oracle a plusExcellent oral and written communication#LI-PG1#IEBUCompensation and Benefits:TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs.
