About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead and oversee all field operations, with a primary focus on commercial facilities maintenance, enhancement, and construction services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and profitable execution of these services, and will be a key partner in driving operational excellence, supporting organic growth, and improving profitability. Specific duties include providing leadership and oversight for all branch operations, developing and coaching branch managers, and holding them accountable for key performance indicators. The role also involves partnering with the sales organization, participating in budget development, driving labor productivity initiatives, and fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence. Applicants for the Vice President of Operations position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive operations leadership experience within the commercial facilities services industry, with a strong preference for those with experience managing multiple branches or regional operations. The role requires a working knowledge of commercial facilities services, construction, and enhancement operations, as well as a proven track record in leading operations for a multilocation commercial facilities or route-based services organization. Strong financial acumen, experience in managing budgets, and a college degree are also required. The ideal candidate will have experience in integrating acquisitions, standardizing operational processes, and a background in leading organizations with annual revenues exceeding $100 million. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to build cross-functional partnerships and a strong leadership pipeline.
