This role combines individual sales production with team leadership responsibilities. The Producer Team Lead will be responsible for driving new business development, managing a book of commercial insurance clients, ensuring the delivery of personalized insurance solutions, and cross-selling other Shamrock services (Factoring, Equipment Financing, Fuel Savings, and Trucking Software). In addition to maintaining personal production goals, the Producer Team Lead will serve as a mentor and coach to a team of Producers, helping drive performance, skill development, and sales effectiveness. This individual will partner closely with the Director of Sales to support team execution, reinforce best practices, and foster a high-performance, customer-focused sales culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, exceptional relationship-building skills, demonstrated leadership abilities, the drive to meet and exceed sales targets, and a proactive commitment to staying informed on industry trends, emerging risks, and competitive offerings. What You’ll Do Generate new business opportunities and grow existing client relationships through prospecting, networking, referrals, and consultative sales. Manage a portfolio of commercial transportation insurance accounts, providing policy reviews, renewals, ongoing service, and tailored insurance solutions. Drive revenue growth by identifying cross-sell opportunities and promoting Shamrock's transportation-focused services. Achieve individual sales goals while contributing to overall team and department performance. Lead, coach, and develop a team of Producers through regular feedback, training, performance discussions, and best-practice sharing. Partner with the Director of Sales to execute sales strategies, support team performance, and drive key business initiatives. Assist with onboarding, mentoring, and skill development to help Producers achieve their full potential. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture focused on delivering exceptional client results. What You’ll Bring Proven track record in sales, business development, and client retention, preferably within the commercial transportation insurance industry. Valid state insurance producer license. Previous leadership, mentoring, coaching, or team lead experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to develop others and drive sales performance through coaching and accountability. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain insurance concepts and tailor solutions to client needs. Goal-driven with the ability to balance personal production responsibilities while supporting team success. Strong relationship-building, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency with CRM systems, pipeline management, and sales reporting tools. Commitment to continuous learning and staying informed on industry trends, emerging risks, and market opportunities.
