Job Summary/Basic Function

Position will be filled as a UI/UX Developer (grade E32). Position will design, develop and maintain the weber.edu website, particularly internal pages and sections, and support university communications and marketing campaigns with media-rich, interactive user experiences.

Required Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years) in related field
• 3 years of UI/UX design and development experience

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred:

• Experience with web design, usability, accessibility, and user testing
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards
• Some experience in Photoshop, Illustrator or equivalent graphics programs
• Proficient technical learner
• Experience maintaining websites in a content management system
• Experience with Google Analytics and user experience principles to inform the design, development, and maintenance of user-friendly websites
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work productively both alone and in a team environment

The annual salary for this position starts at $60,000 and may go up from there depending on candidate qualifications. The position comes with a generous benefits package. Upon completion and approval of an Alternative Work Arrangement Agreement, remote work options may be available for employees who consistently meet performance expectations.
