This role supports preventative maintenance programs, responds to equipment breakdowns, and performs routine facility repairs.**On a daily basis our Facilities Mechanic:*** Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems* Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues* Repair or replace defective components, motors, bearings, belts, pumps, valves, and other equipment parts* Conduct inspections to identify wear, damage, or safety concerns* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings* Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments safely and effectively* Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and repair records* Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and equipment failures* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies* Assist with installation and setup of new equipment or machinery* Maintain clean and organized work areas and maintenance shops* Participate in after-hours or on-call maintenance coverage when required.**What You Will Need:*** High School Diploma/ GED or Equivalent.* Technical certification or trade school training are preferred.* 2+ years of facility maintenance or building maintenance experience preferred.* Basic electrical troubleshooting experience preferred* Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Good communication and time management skills* Ability to read manuals, schematics, and work orders.* Proficiency with basic computer systems and maintenance software preferred.* Clean background and Florida Driver’s License.* Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.* Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, motors, and industrial equipment.**Looking to work for the best in the industry?** Since opening its first store in 1975, Pinch A Penny, A POOLCORP Company, has become the largest franchised retail pool, patio and spa company.
